Didn't know about this 12" - another one to track down :(

I kind of liked this but only one or two tracks are really good, the rest meandered slightly for me (although like Lance I get off on smooth Detroit sounds and synthesised percussion :)

I have the Wookie on Tenth Planet and all the tracks on it are better than the Fragmented LP IMO - a really astounding 12". Lots of distant chords and 808/909. Got the Bola 7" - really wicked. One of the best records I've bought for a while. _Aguilla_ is probably one of the most emotional IDM cuts I've heard for a long-time. Passed up the Musik Aus Strom re-pressing on Acid Planet because it's pretty boring and now, quite dated. Got the Electronome instead which sounds like I-F - tight IDM-oriented electro. || [CiM] || cim_@hotmail.com || - ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

Yes, it is good, but I'm infuriated trying to work out from where that "Cry just a little bit" sample emanates. It's official - emotion is the new gardening. adam

Is that it from wookie ? I've been keeping my eye out for new wookie stuff for ages, not seen any. I love that tenth planet one, its a lot deeper and more experimental then his LHAS guise, love them too though, specially "The Hevalo". I've been after "The end of the beginning" since Lances original review, no joy there either though. ================================= Hary Walsh <hwalsh@shannon.tellabs.com>
